I've been looking for natural breaks with the films, but this issue came up with a film that has fading transitions or dialogue that would be broken up if I segmented the film.

Also it's been suggested that I have some overlap between the files. Is that a consideration?

Hmm, toughie- when reassembling into a whole (say on DVD later), would that make it complicated for folks to have to cut out the duplication parts?
